"Good Friday,April 6,2012 AT For Barbara Spurgeon Karrer" I feel his arms around me still, Of him I could never get my fill, For my heart beat in him too; The sorrow lingers in all I do. Oh dear mother let go your grief, You more than deserve full relief, For you gave your precious son, I share the feeling from what is done. Tell me Father why take him away To leave me in sorrow every day, For such a loss is hell on earth When I loved him before his birth. I love you child who can not know The answer to what hurts you so, For mortal mind can not understand The rest of creation in my hand. Then tell me Father why all this pain For what is there to learn or gain? And why am I afraid I may forget My precious son on whom I fret. I hear your heart and cry your tears But be assured,forget your fears, For he prepares with my chosen few, To reunite when your life is through. Then Father whatever shall I do now, For I have been drained,show me how, Will I be judged worthy to enter your gate, Or am I cast down to a lesser fate.
